They played one season of first-class and List A cricket in 2002-03. ==Background== Dadu finished second to Multan in the second division (non-first-class) of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy in 2001-02. Their captain, Shahid Qambrani, was the highest scorer in the competition, with 576 runs at an average of 82.28.〔(Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (Grade II) 2001-02 batting averages )〕 Dadu and Multan were promoted to the top level of the Trophy for 2002-03.
